*****--- Sin City E-juice by GQ Vape and Watermelon candy by Pop Clouds Review --- *****

So, I havent done a review of an E-juice yet, so I decided to do a review of two of them together!  Yay me!  Ok, the first one is . . . . . .

Sin City by GQ Vape Ejuice

I had been at a new shop in Atwater, a town about 21 miles or so down the 99 from us.  The shop, Smoke City on Bellevue Road near 5 corners, has an amazing guy who works there.  I forget his name for some reason, lol.  But anywho, I asked him if he had anything new in a watermelon flavor.  He pulled this one out and said " Have you ever tried Sin City?"  I gave it a look see and the description said " A carefree combination of apple & watermelon candy. Transports you to a carefree time in Sin City."  I have to admit, I was in need of a new flavor, and I definitely needed a bit of carefree time (hahahahaha).  So I plunked down my $6.99 for the 30ml, and took it home.

I have to admit, if you do not like perfume-y vapes, do NOT try this one.  It has an almost perfume-like aftertaste when you exhale.  It does have the afore mentioned Watermelon and Apple profile, and it is like a sweet watermelon and apple candy.  But the faint perfume-like exhale might be off-putting for some.  I enjoyed it tho.  The taste is like sweet Brach's sugarfree candies rather then like a sour or Jolly Rancher candy type flavor.  It is an easier taste, for a gently all day vape, and the scent in the air is nice as well, smelling like a candy as well.  The scent doesn't linger, or become offensive at all.

I would definitely recommend this for people who like that kind of flavor profile, or for people looking for a gently stealthy vape juice.

Watermelon Candy by Pop Clouds

This one I purchased at a Merced shop that the Lon and I go to all the time, Smoke Palace on 16th street here in town near the Zombie Uprisings (the no tell motels and the hooker corners).  The Manager said that it was a new purchase that he had made on a whim, and that he would love it if I could let him know how it was.  So, I bought the juice for $19.99 for 60ml, and brought it home to try out.

Now, I love me some watermelon flavored vape juice, the sour/candy kind not the full on true-to-flavor Fruity kind.  This one is definitely NOT the fruity one but the candy flavor.  I am vaping it right now, so lemme take a puff. (((((((clouds)))))))  so, the watermelon flavor is a sour variety, not an overly sweet one.  The throat hit is above average, and the cloud factor is excellent.  Usually with a watermelon vape I find the cloud factor is kind of lacking, but with this one it is amazingly high.  The throat hit might be irritating to some, or even irritating at a higher wattage for some (I am vaping at both 35.1 watts and 65 watts, and have dripped it on a parallel 13650 unregulated box mod with 2 fused Clapton coils in a Wotofo Ice3).  In the RDA, I have noticed a wee bit of irritation, and even coughed at a longer drag at it.  So the throat hit may end up being the proverbial "Nail in the coffin" for some vapers.

The flavor tho!  It tastes EXACTLY LIKE the watermelon Pop Rocks.  I wonder if the throat hit is supposed to emulate the popping of the candy?  Huh, it is something to consider, anyways.  The flavor is just as powerful on the exhale as the inhale, which is not usually the case with watermelon and sour flavored vapes.

Throat hit --- 4

weak throat hit for this one, but it still has SOME amount of it.

Flavor --- 6

the perfume-like exhale or aftertaste might be off-putting for some, but it makes a good scent in the air for non vapers, and no one has complained to me about the smell yet (and my kids would, believe me!)  Other then that the Apple and watermelon flavor is candy like and good in the inhale.

Clouds --- 3

VERY weak cloud hits on this one.  Might make an excellent stealth vape, especially with  MTL vapers.

Overall score is --- 13 out of 30

Watermelon Candy

Throat hit --- 10

This is, by far, the BEST throat hitter I have ever vaped.  It is high at higher temps, so the hotter it is the harder it hits.  It can be irritating foir some, but it hits excellently at all temps and wattages.

Flavor --- 7

this one tastes as close to the original Pop Rocks candy as it could get.  I loved how it stays strong even through the exhale.  Even the scent is spot on!  My kids have asked me to "Share the candy Mom!" when I vape this one.

Clouds --- 8

not like the usually lackluster cloud-age factor in this Watermelon vape.  It has Loads of Vapor and clouds here.
