***** The Basilisk by Stentorian Review!!! *****

Hey, my dudes!  ANother week, another review by me myself and I!  Lucky you!

This week I am doing a review on the Basilisk by Stentorian.  Now, the HOW of how I got this to review it is completely awesome.  The TL;DR is that I won it.  The long version is that Heavengifts.com was running an Instagram Contest for 2 people to win a Basilisk, alls we needed to do was like the post, tag a friend, and comment with your country.  That was it.  So I did, tagged my old man, and of course put USA.  So, I get contacted a coupole weeks later by Heaven Gifts that I HAD WON!  Can you flipping believe it????  I about died.  A week after sending my address, it came in the mail.  It was like a birthday and Yule wrapped up in a box mod.  I was so hyped!

The final form

So, after taking  it out of the package and checking it over, I got down to biznezz.

The website Elementvape.com has this to say about the Basilisk :

The Stentorian Basilisk 200W TC Box Mod presents a striking and unique designs with modern performance capability, utilizing high quality dyed resin chassis with a matte texture to perfectly contrast the sturdy zinc alloy frame.

Translation: has an awesome resin swirly patterned box, with a zinc frame thingy.  It also goes up to a whopping 200 watts, but sadly has no temperature control.  Too bad, TC vapers!  There is a matte finish so it is easy to handle and grasp even when wet with Ejuice.  it also comes with these protective hard plastic gaskert thingies that will help prevent your tanks and RDA's from scratching the finish.  So that is pretty damn cool.

me looking cool with my Basilisk
wow!  I look awesome here!

on to performance.  I have another mod that I used to see in the Basilisk 200 watts fired at the same level as another mod's 200 watts.  I had seen a video that stated the 200 watts on the Basilisk was closer to a 150 or 120 watts on any other mod.  Nope, worked spot on.  I tested the corners as I had heard the corners ran sharp on some models.  Not on mine apparently, but I can attest that it hurts like the blazes when you drop in on your foot and it lands corner first.

Oveerall I would have to say that the Basilisk is gonna be my go-to mod for the foreseeable future.  It is easy to use, the on/off procedures are easy, nothing is loose/rattles when shaken, or is in any way defective.  I would HIGHLY recommend this mod to a friend.

  1. If you are just getting started, voopoo too resin kit is definitely the best choice. Besides voopoo mojo r kit has absolutely amazing flavors, produces lots of vapor, has a great battery, is extremely convenient to use. Shipping is fast and vapesourcing.com customer service is friendly. Nothing bad to say.
